You need to close a video game appropriately to keep its progress.
Save your progress in the game;
Exit from the game;
If the launcher appears after exiting the game (e.g., Steam), ensure that the cloud save synchronization has completed successfully.
After synchronization is complete, close the session using the "End Session" button in the overlay.
If the launcher does not appear and only the desktop is shown after exiting the game, it is recommended to wait until the session closes automatically to allow sufficient time for proper synchronization (e.g., with Xbox launcher or Epic Games).
Wait until saves from the previous session are synchronized before launching a new session. If you receive a message that a game is still running when trying to launch a new session, it means that the previous session is still active and the save synchronization process hasn't finished yet. Interrupting it may result in losing your game saves.

At this point, the game's progress and achievements are sent to cloud servers of a corresponding digital platform (such as EA App, Steam) and stored there until you return to the game next time.
